National Broadband Network (Fixed Wireless)

CommPlan provided town planning, legislative compliance, site acquisition and property management services for the development of over 100 NBN fixed wireless facilities. 



NSW Department of Finance and Services

We provided a wide range of services to the NSW Government regarding the development, upgrade and management of electrical and radio communications infrastructure. This included projects for Essential Energy and the National Parks and Wildlife Services. The services included design, structural engineering, project management, environmental assessment, site acquisition and property management. 



Anytime Fitness Centres

CommPlan has provided town planning and project management services for the development of over fifty  24 hour fitness gymnasiums in all states of Australia. This has been a challenging project given the community interest in 24 hour operations and the differentiation from traditional bigger gyms. 

Telstra

CommPlan maintains a consultancy contract with Telstra and provides RF Engineering, Design, Environmental Planning and site acquisition services for a range of Telstra networks including optic fibre deployment, High Capacity Radio Transmission, Mobile Phone Base Stations and telephone exchange development / maintenance. Some recent projects include Optic Fibre Cable to Berowra Waters and Akuna Bay, Optic fibre cable from Blacktown to Bella Vista, Moomba to Gun Gun Radio Network Decommissioning, ARTC Railway Corridor Coverage in Illawarra, Sofala to MT Parorama Radio Link, WCDMA 850 Base Station Optimisation  and provision of provision of installation, commissioning services.

 Abigroup

Property, Site Acquisition, Industry Code Compliance and Town Planning services for the deployment of Mobile Network Infrastructure. Our scope involved the property and environmental planning work required for the deployment of over 250 Base Stations and associated site modifications.

NOKIA

We provide a range of specialist services to Nokia and Nokia Seimens Networks on various projects. The main focus is on network development strategies, Project Management, Site Acquisition, Design and Environmental Planning Services. Some of the projects include the Victorian GSMR Network, Fibre to the Node projects, 1500km optical fibre network in Western Australia and the Optus WCDMA 2100 Network.

Optus

Provision of Design, Property and Environmental Planning services for the extension of the Optus optical fibre network to their wireless base stations across Australia. This project covers all parts of Australia and involves the route selection, notification, environmental assessment, external cable design and internal design for the construction and installation of optic fibre to Optus base station sites as well as the development of their backhaul network. 

APN OUTDOOR

We provide APN with environmental planning, site acquisition, site selection and market assessment services. The aim of the projects is to identify areas where outdoor advertising is required, select a suitable property and location and then complete the lease negotiations, environmental planning and design to enable the sign to be constructed 
  

CCTS

 CommPlan provides environmental assessment, environmental planning and legislative compliance services to CCTS. The majority of the work relates to telecommunications cabling networks including above ground infrastructure, SCAX’s, RIMS and cable network re-locations. The projects are all over Australia with the majority of work in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
